Common questions
These are the common questions people ask before getting started.
How much does a small business website cost?
Mika Digital is currently running a 25% launch offer on the core website packages: Starter at $2,175, Growth at $3,675, and Pro at $5,925. You can compare them on the pricing and packages pages.
How long does it take to build a website?
Timing depends on the package, responsiveness during onboarding, and how complete the content is. The How It Works page explains the project stages from enquiry through launch.
Do I have to provide the content?
You should expect to provide the core business details, services, and source material. Mika Digital structures the site and can guide what content is needed during onboarding.
Can you upgrade my current website?
Yes. Website upgrades are a separate service path for businesses that already have a website but need better design, structure, or performance.
What are Smart Features?
Smart Features are add-on tools that help your website do more over time, such as collecting testimonials, running timed promotions, tracking selected enquiries, and updating certain content through the portal without relying on developer scheduling for every recurring change.
Can my website connect to the tools my business already uses?
Yes. Mika Digital can connect websites to tools such as CRM systems, booking platforms, email marketing tools, payment providers, and automation workflows. Simple connections can fit within the package path, while deeper workflow work is scoped separately.
Do you offer custom websites?
Yes. If the project needs more advanced functionality, integrations, or broader workflows, Mika Digital can scope it under custom development instead of forcing it into the wrong package. The standard packages are customised template-based websites, not fully custom builds.
How does the 50% deposit work?
Every website project starts with a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due before launch once the build reaches approval stage.
Do you help with domain registration?
Yes. Mika Digital can help guide new domain registration or connecting an existing domain as part of your website project.
Can I get the website, domain, and hosting together?
Yes. Mika Digital also offers launch bundles that combine the website package with domain support, hosting setup, and launch preparation in one simpler path.
Can you help with hosting?
Yes. We can help with hosting setup guidance and launch preparation depending on your project needs.
Can you help set up professional business email?
Yes. Mika Digital can help set up Microsoft 365 business email on your domain, including mailbox setup, DNS configuration, and connecting it to Outlook or your phone.
Can you help launch the site too?
Yes. Launch support is part of making sure the website, domain, and hosting pathway are properly prepared to go live.
Can I change the design of the template?
The packages customise the template with your branding, content, images, and business details. If you need major design changes beyond the template structure, that moves into additional work or a custom development project.
What parts of the website can I change?
Mika Digital customises your branding, colours, logo placement, images, headings, service content, calls to action, FAQs, and contact details. The overall layout structure stays tied to the selected template so the project stays efficient and affordable.
Can I request more changes later?
Yes. Mika Digital can handle post-launch changes for you through website changes, upgrade work, or hourly support blocks when you need more pages or additional adjustments after launch. During the first 30 days after launch, there is also a 4-hour support block for the price of 3.
Can I edit the website myself?
Standard Mika Digital packages do not currently include a self-managed CMS. If you need updates, Mika Digital handles those changes for you so the site stays consistent and properly managed.
What if I need a completely custom website?
If your project needs a fully custom design direction or advanced functionality, the right path is custom development rather than trying to stretch a package beyond its intended scope.
